On painted surfaces can it be used?

It has not caused damage to the paint on either my aluminum or carbon framed bikes during my use of it. It's so thin that I wouldn't use it on a latex paint without testing it first.

I am unable to spray anything with the package

As a kitchen degreaser I was hoping to use it Grease baked on to items (looking brown on cookie sheets, on a stovetop or on pots and pans) requires special cleaning. There will be no spray from the package.

It is an application programming interface. My used bike's drivetrain smelled disgusting, and I was able to clean it with this product. I also used it in my engine bay to clean it. I am unable to compare it to any other APC, but it does the job.

It works just fine, however bulk WD40 is much cheaper, and even works better as a cleaner and degreaser. Get a gallon of WD40 and a spray bottle and use that. A detergent that degreases instantly.
