Do you think it would work for degreasing spray-painted parts?

In theory, it should work if I rinse the part well after I use the product.

What if I need to degrease an oven fan with an electrical connection? Are there any WD products that are better than others?

You'll likely be just fine if you disassemble the device and use this with a cotton cloth to wipe away the old oil and grease. If you use it with the part in place you will not be able to trap and lift material off the part after it's been applied. You will also want to get as much lubrication off the part as possible before applying the degreaser.

While I dread writing a review that is negative, this product did not work for me. On a John Deere motor that had already been degreased, I was doing some work. There were small patches of grease in the corners left by the person who degreased the motor. It took two cans of this stuff and a powerful pressure washer to get the job done. Almost all of the grease I saw on the floor came off with the power washer,.

An item on the dispenser has broken

When the can arrived, the white dispenser piece was broken on half of the can. As soon as I connected the can and turned on the dispenser, fluid began to drip down the sides of the can. The little white piece is not enough to cover the end of the nozzle. As a result, the can is pointless.
