Workmanship of poor quality. A leak in the suction line meant that I had to cut fittings and attach new hose clamps. The pressure pump kept failing to prime because of the leak. I got that fixed, but the discharge line going to the sprinkler ruptured. It has the same type of discharge hoses which I have had for 10 years and they work well.

Due to the loose connection on the clamp, I could not use it for suction, but instead used it for discharge. So handle it with care so the clamps do not come apart during operation.

It took me over an hour to get this hose to work Because the (pump end) hose clamp on my brand new pump couldn't be adjusted (it was sucking air through it), I was unable to prime it. The water slowly poured over the outside of the connection and the connection was eventually fixed. Because I will be pumping really cold water, I will not be able to do this as a permanent fix. It will be easier to prime the system if I cut off the hose clamp and replace it with an adjustable one that I can adjust as required.

In other reviews, it has been noted that the compression clamps on the suction hose do not seal properly. The pump will then not be able to draft, because air is being sucked into it. As mentioned in other reviews, the barb fittings found to be undersized to accommodate the hose were found to be undersized while taking the product apart. Waste of time and money. As far as the green hose is concerned, everything works fine except when I attach it to the metal filter, which barely fits due to some reason like the thread barely fit in.

There was no strainer included in the product box, and the box was damaged. I am upset despite my husband saying it is not a big deal. When I pay for something, I expect it to be delivered to me. I can only return the item if I want to know if the missing part is present. There is a problem here that needs to be addressed.
