After ordering the pump, it came in a short amount of time, which was great. I was able to set up the pump, and after it was primed, it worked great. This product only got a 3 Star rating because the electrical power cord was too short and the transfer tank could not be used with an in-tank pump because I had a transfer tank under my tonneau cover. In order to remedy the problem, I purchased Putting this pump to use is a bit complicated, since the electrical cord to connect to your vehicles battery is very short. Maybe 6' long is the length of the electrical cord. I'm not sure about the majority of you, but the distance between the truck bed and the battery is significantly longer Ideally, the supply cord should be at least 15' long for the connection of the batteries. Now that I'm using jumper cables to get the extra reach I need, I need them.

The purpose of my purchase was to pump diesel into my skid steer from a 15 gallon jug. The suction end ended up inside the jug when I put the pump on the first time. I turned on the pump and within a minute or so my SS was full of water. My method of handling the 15 gallon jug used to involve placing the jug on a small table, dropping a funnel in the fuel inlet, then tipping the jug over to fill the tank (fuel inlet is about a foot off the ground). Unsurprisingly, it was heavy, I spilled fuel a lot, and it was not an easy task. Since the case is designed to contain everything, even small drips of diesel, I find it so convenient to use. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to find that after filling the tank to the top, I lifted the suction end out of fuel and pumped the remaining fuel into the jug and there was no residue left in the hoses, so it was pretty clean. Despite the relatively low price, I am very satisfied with this purchase and I recommend it to others.
My trackhoe was powered by a battery from a second car. Because the cords were short, it would have been very hard to use the trackhoe batteries. If I were to use it, I would probably use jumper cables. In addition, the trackhoe is 24 volts, while this pump says it can be used with either 12 or 24 volts. The question remains, however, about how durable it will be and what its lifespan will be. I am impressed right now, and it has saved me a great deal of time and effort.
My family and I live in Alaska, so when I saw this item I decided to buy it. As of today, I've been using this product for more than 2 years and it still works perfectly. Despite the length of the hose being intact and still intact, it is intact which means there is no leak from the nozzle. In addition to using this product for filling my John Deere tractor and my truck, I also use it for renting water. I was really pleased with the case that came with the product. It is very durable and can be easily stored when not in use. Before, I have used this device out in the field to transfer fuel from a 55-gallon tank to a 75-gallon tank. Each 15 gal. barrel is connected to an individual 15 gal. tub. Describe the tank. I tested it out, and it works great. It works when I hook it up to my work truck and when I use it at home, I hook it up to one of my old batteries that has still some charge in it. You can even hook this thing up to a motor cycle battery and it also works well. Installation is not necessary, it can simply be set up where you want it, taken out of the hose, and used immediately. The Gerry Can is what I use to refuel my snow cat.
