You can transfer water from a higher source to a lower source if it is pumping from a higher source to a lower one.
There are other rental pumps I have rented but I am not sure what the correct term is.

It is easy to store between waterings because it can be rolled up. In the summer, when we don't use the hoses, the spikes on the Russian Olive impede its performance, as well as the sun. Therefore, we move the hoses around carefully (and keep them out of the sun). We are experiencing much better performance with the hose ends than we did with the plastic ends that I like how the latching mechanisms work - The release process is easy and quick.
Get the connectors online so that you don't end up with a great hose that cannot be connected. There is no question that this flat lay hose has been well constructed. This is what I use for when flooding occurs in my driveway and I need my sump pump to pump storm water. Finding connectors outside of online shops can be a challenge, as you won't find a similar connection at a big box store. Don't let your pump fail because you can't connect your hose. Get the connectors online so that you don't end up with a great hose that cannot be connected.
The hose came apart from the coupling after being used only once.
This is a great deal.

My home is in an area that is off-grid It is connected to the grid and to an aquifer about 3,000 feet down. The ground below is too unstable for a well to be installed. Hence, I haul water from local water stations to my 2,650-gallon capacity water tank by pumping it from my water trailer The 2-gallon cistern is surrounded by a 5-gallon pan Powered by gasoline, this pump can supply potable water up to 12 inches. The old discharge hose I was using started to develop a few small holes after three years, so I bought this Abbott Rubber PVC Discharge Hose in order It is well constructed, reinforced, and is supplied with high-quality fittings The cam and groove fittings are made of high-quality aluminum. Adding these components to my setup did require swapping out the male cam and groove for a female cam (no big deal). A set of cam and groove fittings consists of If the hose is removed from the pump, the rings are not prone to leaks and remain in place. With the cam locks, you get a nice snug fit that stays locked in As you pump, place the attachment. I have a pump that can pump up to 150 gallons per minute, so the hose easily handles this pressure. All in all, I'm pleased with the discharge hose and am satisfied with its quality. If I use it continuously, I should get at least three to four years out of it. The value offered by this product is excellent for its price.
