My son asked for the hose, so I bought it for him as a Christmas gift. He replied as follows, for what it is The hose I got has the male-female cams attached at both ends but I'm not sure what kind of adapter for PVC pipe that is. The diameter of the pipe should be enough to accommodate the hose, but the cams were attached at both ends. " Having trouble figuring out how those hook up to the pvc pipe. Not much help, but it's all we know, so nothing to lose. Unfortunately, he didn't have a piece of pipe with which to experiment. It probably should have been "I don't know" from our end, we should have gone with "Hopefully someone else has a better answer."

Adapter included a 2" banjo poly male adapter, which I attached to the backwash outlet of my pool filter. Five minutes were required for the whole process. Any of the crappy pool backwash hoses on the market can't compare to this hose. In addition, it needs to be removed. It is as easy as flipping the levers on the two small cams to remove the filter when it is not in use. The pool backwash hoses you buy in the past have been crappy.
Buy this if you are tired of changing them. The only regret I have is not having.
