Definitely, it's going to No matter what gender you are, the fit is the same. The sump line of my basement froze over the winter, so I purchased this product as an emergency plan b. Until I fixed the freeze point, the connection was easy and worked like a charm. I just wanted to let you know. Although the fitting has an od of 1 1/2, it has a reduced outside diameter of 1 1/4.
