The price difference would seem to be the most significant factor. In contrast to Frost King, this brand is not well known. What other Sashco branded products have you purchased in the past? I bought this product, which is a darker grey and the frost king is a lighter gray.
I don't think you do. When you spread the tape flat over the joint, tub caulk will be much cleaner to install than Painters tape.
I don’t think so, as it’s closed cell foam, so it should melt at the very least, but I have not tried to burn it so I cannot certify for sure, although the package does not state that it is fire proof.
