It's not really hard to do this - if a novice can do it, so can you! I was pleased with how fast the package arrived, how great the quality is, and how easy it is I would recommend this seller and product. The adhesive was easy to use and didn't lose its stickiness when we had to peel back up a section and stick it back on again. Look forward to seeing you again!.

There was something out of the ordinary with the ash pan. However, I used this gasket in place of the OEM 1/8" gasket and the stove is operating like new once 30 dollars seems expensive for a gasket, but the roll is 10 feet long so I can replace it 1 at a time I would like to do it twice more for the Despite the fact that it appears to be messy (fiberglass shedding), this gasket appears to be of high quality. In addition, the gasket was well adhered by the adhesive and there is no reason to think this unit will break anytime soon.

I wrapped it around the smoker for a measurement and then cut it. To hold the rope in place, I removed the paper from the adhesive and adhered it to the edge of the lid. I placed the lid on the main body of the smoker during the day. I applied Permatex 81160 RTV Silicone on the bottom. * After an hour, place lid on smoker* *Let cure for 24 hours* *Open gap above gasket* *Add liberal amount between smoker & gasket* A gasket for sealing the lid
