The product was intended to serve as a smoke gasket, but it actually works for both heating and cooling

It's best to install interlock weatherstripping if your front door does not have it. This is an excellent choice if you need to seal a door with a second layer of sealing that is reasonably thin (and does not obstruct the door from closing). There are only a few uneven surfaces, such as the transition to the lock strike plate, that make it a bit airtight. This should be the case since the product is fire rated. This is great.
