Questions & Answers
I'd say yes, provided the size is the right size. At first, it is tight, but with time it breaks in and seals well.
As a matter of fact, I have no idea what the answer is. There is an older Lopi wood stove by Travis Industries and the gasket material is well suited to that stove. If you want to know whether the 7/8 gasket material will fit in your stove, call the Regency company and ask someone there.
There is only one type of gasket here.

I used it on my Lopi and it worked great. As soon as I took the door out of the frame, I set it on my workbench and scraped off the previous My next step was to thoroughly clean it. Fitting the gasket in the channel and cutting it to length is done dry. A slight amount of water should be applied to the gasket. As I placed the gasket back into the channel, I smeared a generous amount of adhesive into it and wiped it around before placing it back in. Take care not to stretch or stuff the gasket as it is required to place it slowly and carefully at As soon as the gasket was installed, I covered the door with a small piece of plywood and flipped it over, taking great care not to disturb it. In order to clamp the gasket around its perimeter, I placed it so the gasket side was down. Keep the glass intact by being careful not to break it. My fire went off perfectly after I let it dry for the recommended time, reinstalled and let it dry some more.
I replaced the original gasket for my Lopi Endeavor wood stove this year with the Rutland grapho- - it worked well for a period of 8 years and then have had very minor failures for nine years. We bought a gasket for a windshield only to discover after two months that it does not perform as well as the original. Since the original gasket was thicker with an inner core, it sealed much better despite being the same diameter as the replacement As far as I can tell, I will have to replace the Rutland product after less than one year The gasket from Lopi should be used for a maximum of one year. There is no way I would purchase this product in the future!.
This rope is for my Pelpro PP130, after some research I found it should take 3/4" rope diameter, so I bought a different brand rope that was more like 3/4X1/2 inch, which was too small, therefore I bought this 7/8 inch rope which is as it should be. After the first few times, it was VERY tight, but now, it is a snug fit that fits just how it should. If the shippers could supply some fiberglass cloth to wrap the ends together, I would be very grateful.
That's how it goes. The gasket in this review is for the Rutland woodstove. If you remove this product from its package, your entire body will be covered with tiny fiber glass splinters! There should be a warning on the package that this is a fiberglass product. This gasket cost me so much that I was paid for three days after installing it! SLOWLY remove the package while wearing long sleeved clothing, gloves, and a hat. You should read this warning and take this opportunity to learn from my mistakes to avoid suffering the same fate as me. The program does what it is supposed to and once it is installed it works, but I disapprove of the lack of warnings.
I installed it on the Pacific energy stove door and it fits perfectly. The door seal seals well and adheres well to the channel for the cast iron door. It should last at least 2 years if you use it regularly.
I installed it on my old Avalon wood stove perfectly. The only thing I had to trim off was Before I installed this new gasket, I had no idea how much leakage my old gasket had. Thanks to the cleaner glass on my stove door, I can keep it cleaner for longer periods of time. This is a stove I installed in the fall. I have been using it every day all winter and it seems to be holding up fine.
This is a quality product that is easy to install.
Over the course of one year, I used this stove The original gasket was frayed and had to be replaced During the fall, I fell off of the roof. Based on what Lopi told me My gasket was the correct size and length, and they told me what size and length My confidence in my ability to perform the job was low. It took me only a few minutes to remove the door and apply gasket cement to it. I was surprised at how simple it was. Since the temperatures have been well below zero for the past month, I have been using the stove as my primary source of heat. My only complaint is there were no complaints.
