The description on this product describes a 3/8" rope gasket, which is what I use for my stove. Nevertheless, it only appears to be 1/4 inch in diameter from the image and item #91N. ?

Three sizes are available to me 1/4" 3/8" and 3/4" I'll start with As you will see on the package, these are the item/product numbers A quarter of an inch is #91N This is #91, which has a 3/8" diameter 96N, #96N There are six of them, and the 6th is 1/2". I did not actually measure their diameters, but I believe the 3/8" and the 1/2" did increase in size. It is to be expected that they are in diameter. As a whole, they seem to have larger diameters than their specifications would Nevertheless, in my experience, when these grooves are glued into their respective grooves, they end up filling the groove as they should, but still stick out enough to still seal the surface with the groove. The furnace I tested it in reaches higher temperatures and has an open flame as well, so I think it would work well on the glass door of a gas stove oven. In order to find the correct length, you need to measure around the door. You don't need to order too long, just don't order too short. It is easy to cut so receiving too much of it is not a problem. As a result of an unsuccessful purchase of a H@#$ De@#$ item, I've used this product on my Harman P68m pellet stove. I used Rutland Stave Gasket Cement Black and it went in perfectly. Definitely seals well, and I no longer have to worry about smoke leaking into my home from my stove. For my ash box, I purchased another and installed it as well. As a suggestion, one way to install a new gasket is to place a newspaper between the gasket and the stove, wait 24 hours for it to cure, then remove the paper and light the.

It seems to work very well since I first put it on more than a month ago. As of today, I've attached it with Rutland stove gasket cement and it seems to have held very well. In addition to it matching nicely with my stove, I also love the dark color. It would be a great recommendation to use.

Gaskets that work well

I used these gaskets for sealing the doors on my vertical smoker and they worked perfectly. As others had reported, I did not suffer from shedding. There have been no issues. Copper sealant from Permatex was used for installation.
