There's a lot of stiction going on here

There is a lot of stiction in the piston seal. It is free once it begins to move, but breaking the O-ring requires some force. to get the ring moving It's difficult to achieve a fluid movement. If you increase the pressure and nothing happens, it will quickly move. Stiction won't be an issue if you run higher pressures into the piston (50 PSI is fine), but it will become an issue if you try to work with low pressures to achieve low forces. If you're looking for a smooth force at 5 mph, this is the place to be This isn't the one for you if you're looking for a 10 PSI pressure. For the price, the quality is adequate; however, it is not a good choice for low pressures. I'm going to keep it because I'm sure I'll find a use for it in the future.

Without work, Rod wouldn't be able to move

I couldn't get the rod to move right out of the box. AT ALL. Took the cylinder apart and found that when the top cap was tightened even slightly, the most forward part of the cylinder body was pushing against the rod, causing it to bind so tightly that the rod would not move. The forward o- was taken out. I removed some material from the lip with a circular file. When I tighten the top cap, I can now move it with my hand. Tolerances are addicted to it to the point of breakdown. I only gave it a one-star rating because I was able to get it to work in the end. The rod opening I had to file can be seen in the photo.

It's perfect for my needs

It's perfect for my needs. It's no problem for me to make my lowlow go up and down. So far, I've pushed it to 250 psi and it's still holding. I had to make a few changes to get it to fit properly.
