Questions & Answers
This cylinder comes with 6mm metric fittings. Because most of the fittings around here are standard thread, I needed some assistance finding the correct ones.
I crush aluminum cans with my cylinder. The amount of power generated is determined by the cylinder's maximum capability as well as the air pressure delivered to it. br>The single action valve I use can easily deliver enough air pressure to crush an aluminum can, and can crush an aluminum bottle after 5 or 6 cycles. I'm not sure if this will help, but you should be able to lift around 20 - 30 pounds. At full air pressure, the weight is 30 pounds.
In general, add lubricant to the supply air, inspect the lines, and look for an oil reservoir. Add one if you don't already have one. Use the cylinder's recommended lubricant. When lubricant, oil, or grease is applied to the piston, it is frequently wiped off as the piston retracts against the seals, causing dirt and debris to accumulate in the excess, eventually leading to cylinder seal failure.
It could be submerged, but due to a number of the materials used in its construction, it will rust, so I would not recommend it.

It's well-made. The 200mm throw is perfect for me. There are no rules. It's fairly simple to understand. If you loosen the alan wrench bleed valves too much, it will turn into a BB under air pressure, and you won't be able to find it.
It appears to be in good condition, but it arrived with some rust; it was fresh off the boat from China.
I've crushed thousands of cans with this machine, and it's still going strong. If I build another one of these in the future, I think I'll go with the next size up because they could use a little more "oomph" to make them flatter and get all the cans on the first try.
Metal cans are crushed.
For the price, it works well as a can crusher, and I had no problems using it at 100 pounds.
Just what I needed, and with a solinoid valve and adjustable exhaust vents, it was simple to control.
It worked great as a can crusher that I made myself.
