Is this button made of waterproof material?

The KG11 is not a water-resistant device. Although it has an oring that seals the two pieces together, it should not be exposed to water. just like the power units to which they are connected.

Made to withstand the elements

The construction of this three-wire controller is tank-like. Other than the arrows indicating up or down, there is no writing on it, but it is wired in such a way that when held like any other commercial grade controller, the up button is farthest from the cord and the down button is closest to it. I mention this because I bought one of the 20-piece set. First, there were 30 dollar units, which were wired in the opposite direction, which could be perplexing or even dangerous if used by someone expecting something different to happen in a loaded scenario. With heavy gasketing and reinforced plastic, this unit should be able to withstand some rough handling. You get what you pay for, and this appears to be a good deal given the high quality.

It's a hit with the employees

The magnet came loose on the second day of use, so I'll have to reattach it. That's not ideal, but the rest of it works perfectly, and it was incredibly simple to install. It also eliminates the need to lean over to operate that tiny toggle switch.
