Because I ordered the foot pump from the same vendor at the same time, the foot pump has been lost, and the hose received is defective, I have not yet used the cylinder. There appear to be no problems with the cylinders. There is a problem with the quick disconnect. The threads on it are metric and do not fit the threads on the foot pump. Despite the description not being specified, it should be updated to make it clear what metric threads are.

It is my intention to replace the ratchet mechanism on a small cider/grape press with a hydraulic jack. My pump needed to be a holo center pump, but my 4-inch hose did not fit This would have been enough if the cargo were 10 tons. Hopefully in a couple of months I can try it out.

Make sure to buy a set of 3/8 quick disconnect fittings.
