The product is suitable for use with One of the pipes on an old wood stove in a trailer I had just purchased had been As I am not very handy, I could not hire professionals to do the job because despite being in good shape, the stove itself did not meet the specs anymore

To save you $2000, I bought a new stovepipe for $150 - and it turned out I needed this to make it fit in the ceiling hole instead of spending $2000 on a new stove plus installation. The diameter at the end of the pipe was larger than the hole in the ceiling due to the telescopic function. Having the stove so far is making things much easier since the cold has set in.

A chimney dvl adapter was used to adapt my flue to chimney. I only found one issue the crimp was on the wrong side. No big deal, I stretched and sealed it anyway.
