It is important to keep in mind that tightening a hose clamp around a hose that you've just inserted into it can distort the barb. Buying a bundle of these can be a good deal. It was frustrating to see that the clamp had flattened a portion of the barb, reducing the flow by about a third. If you need a tight fit, perhaps a brass hose clamp would work better. My brass one arrived today. I still have five plastic ones left.
There is an advertisement that claims it is made from FDA-compliant material, but on the package of the product you can see the health hazard warning. In terms of my review, I will revise it when I find out why.
