I like how you have a two-pronged approach to your writing. When you push the hose or tube into the fitting, you get a step connection. The release ring is oversized, making it easy to remove a fitting, but it's firm enough that you don't have to worry about accidentally loosening the fitting during installation when you're moving everything around. br> I've used him for 150 psi air line for my compressor and also for a water pump I use. The two-step seal these fittings use is much easier to feel than many other fittings I've used. The only time they've ever leaked was because I didn't push the pipe on the fitting far enough. Whenever I use this style of fitting, I connect one to the pipe, then mark the tubing, and finally remove the fitting. This gives you a visual guide of how far the fitting needs to go onto the pipe.
This product appeals to me due to its ease of use and high quality. br>br>These are excellent connectors. If they leak, it's likely that the tubing hasn't been pushed all the way in. You must ensure that the tubing is pushed past the second point of resistance when inserting it into the connector. The prongs that keep the tubing from blowing back out of the connector are probably the first thing that comes to mind as being perplexing. The actual sealing ring is the second point of resistance into which you push. You'll have to work hard, but you'll be able to tell when it's all the way in. Remove the tubing from the connector and try again if you're not sure. If you have leaks, it's likely that the prongs are engaged to hold the tubing's end against the sealing ring, but the tubing isn't fully seated inside the sealing ring. br>br>I have a few connectors where the tubing is angled into the connector because it is being pulled in an unusual direction, but no leaks.
These were purchased in conjunction with the installation of a suspension air bag system on my FJ Cruiser. Both 'Y's', as well as one of the 'T's' and a straight through fitting, have failed so far. br>br>After the first Y failed, I switched to the second. It, too, was exposed. One of the T's failed after the system was up and running, but the other is still going strong. The straight through piece leaks were discovered today. br>br> I'm going to replace them all and toss these out. Simply put, it's not good enough to withstand pressure.
If a line is twisted even slightly, it will leak out of the plastic push-in connector. These connectors worked well and there have been no problems with them so far. The only quibble I have is that I believe the offer should have included more connectors. There are more bends in the line than I anticipated, and more elbows would have been nice; however, they work and are well worth the low price; I only wish there were more elbows in the package XD. Thanks.
"My return date had passed by by the time I got around to installing my air ride. " I've tried everything I can think of to get these things to stop leaking. I get them to stop leaking until I raise or lower my vehicle, at which point the movement of air passing through the lines causes them to leak again. Customer service is uninterested and unconcerned!.
I purchased both the 1/4 and the 1/2 3/8 package to have on hand for our two class 5 students. Trucks in the class 8 category. They arrived quickly and in excellent condition; the packaging was so good that it almost looked like a well-kept secret. packaging for a beef jerky company There are two of each type of fitting included in the package. I'll have to order some more packages so I can put together a nice fittings stock case for when we do need them. I strongly recommend these 100%.

I strongly recommend these 10.
Because every fitting was leaking, we had to replace them all with stainless steel fittings. They might work for applications that deal with air in bursts, but not for a system that requires them to maintain pressure, such as a compressor. suspensions for airbags.
I'm not sure why others are complaining about it leaking. It works as expected if you make a clean cut and push it all the way in. (I did have to purchase additional tools to ensure a 90-degree cut, but that is not my style. ).
