The plastic part of the fitting connecting the pipe just needs to be pressed to be disconnected
Yes, I believe that is the case. Stainless steel maybe on the small piece of metal in them, but they are for compressed air. If you are searching for shark teeth in plumbing, you should be looking at these for trucks that use air brakes.
The quick release is what they are.

I used it for what it was intended for and it worked I should have known they would leak due to the constant movement the application called for, which caused them to be moving all the time. Please accept my apologies for any problems my rude comments could or did cause Tailonz Pneumatic. It turns out that I had the wrong problem, which has been corrected by Thomas at Tailonz Pneumatics. In my experience, even if you're not satisfied with any purchase from Tailonz Pneumatics, after all is said and done you'll be delighted with the product. I appreciate you taking the time to read. It is Tom, the employer.
There appears to be an issue with npt threads after two threads have been screwed in, causing leakage. There is no way to tighten them I swapped it out for sharkbite ones and had no issues. I had trouble with only two of them, while the others worked perfectly. In all, they're great.
I had great success with this Did not leak and was tightly sealed. Updates will be made if it fails for any reason, but I don't expect it to.
There has not yet been any use of these. These were replacement fittings for ones previously installed as I keep an ample supply of them around. While they seem to be of fair quality, they do fall short of some They appear to be the same construction as a Pisco Y fitting shown in the picture, and may not be quite as good as SMC.
It seems they are well made, and they arrived quickly. We will see if they perform in the future, but they have a strong build.
I wanted to attach the thread of a pipe to a 1/4 inch plastic pipe. It worked perfectly, and the price was good.
This is what it's supposed to do. appear to be in good condition. The white thread tape, however, is actually just white paint painted to look like thread tape, which is rather distasteful. I don't have any problems with it.
During the first nine months, I owned it until it separated.
