Brass with nickel plating is used for this item.
There is no way they could be approved by the DOT. These valves were intended for use with water supply lines, such as water supply lines for refrigerators, ice machines, and RO systems.
A push on fitting must be used with tubing having an outside diameter of 1/2", so the ID of the fitting is designed to push onto a 3/4" tube. The diameter of the tube is 1/4" OD, and the PTH is 1/2"

It worked when I twisted it on and connected it to the pipe. The leak is not present. br>There should be no dripping. This is an error-free version. I'm so excited. My new boat was delivered to me in excellent shape, so I am happy with the water filtration installation. am grateful when they say what they are doing and it turns out to be what they said.
I used this fitting to replace a failed plastic fitting that had been on a high pressure misting system (800 psi) for two years. So far the year has been great and I have not experienced any issues.
The fittings were used for connecting the air lines of the ride height control valve in my RV. We have a major leak! The ends of the pieces of meat were cut straight and It is one of those foreign-made inferior products Added crap to the mix! It is not a good idea to buy.
It may have come with thread sealer already applied, but in general I am pleased with the deal so far.
I feel tough, but the lines don't hold very tight, and the air lines come undone repeatedly and I need to reconnect them.
The service was great and everything went smoothly. I would order from them.
