This seems to do what it is supposed to

I'm used to compression fittings, but these are a little different. By capturing the compression ring, the nut locks it in place. Installing this unit was easy and the hold up seems to be just fine. After I started turning, I felt like I had turn and turn until it torqued down perfectly.
