I believe the FFL (female flare thread) connector is used on all hoses connected to this manifold. You'll need adapters for the ends of all four hoses (to 1/2" ACME), as well as quick-connect fittings, if you're going to use this for an R134a automotive system. high-speed connector couplers In the vehicle, there are low ports. In this case, the Yellow Jacket 46101 set would be a better choice.

Standard in the United States! Over the ever-popular matco rebrand of mastercools, I went with these. I couldn't be more pleased. The 4 valve/4 hose setup was a lot easier than the 3 hose setup with the hose ends switched around for vacuum/charge. In comparison to the MC-100, these are huge gauges. I don't have to squint to read them, and I can read them even from a distance. For a tight finger seal, nice deep knurled brass is used. It's all yellow jackets from here on out. Other reviews suggest swapping out the knobs/valves for traditional steel wheel knobs/valves. These are comparable in size to the MC sets I've borrowed from other techs, with twice the rubberized grip. To operate, you only need two or three fingers. Everything is in order. All from Yellow Jacket, including the r134 quick connects and the rubber gauge boots.
I like the gauges overall, but the sight glass is held in place by an octagon-shaped ring rather than a standard hexagon, which means I can't remove it for cleaning or repair/replace the oring behind it without a tool. This is a big disappointment for a gauge set of this caliber.
When it comes to air conditioning tools, Yellow Jacket makes some of, if not all, of the best. Because my vacuum pump lacks the large 3/8" fitting needed to use the large 4th hose, I'll have to purchase an adapter. Also included are three 1/4" SAE flare female (R-) hoses with this manifold. 12) type; instead of 1/2" ACME (R-) 134a). To use most can taps, an adapter (F 1/2 ACME to M 3/8" SAE flare adapter) will be required. I needed to use a universal can tap (the kind that you squeeze around the can and punctures the side) that has both R- and R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R 12 and R- Fittings that comply with the 134a standard.
After approximately 2 months, the high side gauge sprung. However, this is a simple fix. I really enjoy having the fourth valve.
For years, I've been adding components to test manifolds to give them the flexibility that this set offers. Finally, there is no need for this.
Not for the faint of heart. This is a tool that can be used for a long time. The gauges are very nice. Made in the United States of America. Yellow Jacket hoses were always used, but I never owned any of their gauges. The four-valve setup is fantastic.
4-star rating and quality I don't know what else to say about valve. What you pay for is exactly what you get. Please keep in mind that the vac line is 3/8" standard flare and that most non-standard flare vac lines are 3/8" std flare. I had to make an adapter (using solder) because commercial vacuum cleaners use 1/4" or 1/2" ACME.
This is the best manifold; the quality is palpable. 100% recommendation %.
