Is it waterproof or airtight? I'm guessing it's just dust, based on the seam in the photo. ?

I've successfully sealed water or liquids without the use of a pump.

Groove parts are fantastic; they work, have no leaks, are inexpensive, and qualify for free shipping - When I emailed a question to the factory, the employees were courteous. On a trailer, I mostly use it to clean up black/grey water. They're also far superior to/faster than anything else available.
