Great, now protect them by slowing them down

I ordered this to go with a century key padlock to help secure our car hauler trailer, but we'll need at least another foot, so I'll order one that's a little longer. Instead, we'll use it to secure a double drive-through gate and retire another chain that was barely long enough to go around both gates. br> It's about a foot too long for this application, and we thought we'd shorten it with some bolt cutters, but we were wrong. br> We gave a set of fairly long-handled quality bolt cutters, and while the chain did what it was supposed to do, the shape didn't allow for a good bite, so we'll have to settle for a longer gate chain. br>br> It has a gleaming, almost chrome finish that, let me tell you, makes our gate look bad. br>br> I'm glad to hear it has some anti-cutting or anti-grinding properties, because while it could be severed with the right tools, it would take a long time, and the thief would most likely move on to the next house. br>br> So far, I'm happy with it, and I'd recommend it to anyone. br>br>Thank you for taking the time to read this.

It was given to me as a good-will gesture. On a large gate that leads to public land, there is a security chain. I used a bolt, large washers, and a locknut to secure it to the fence near the post, and a Dremel and cutting wheel to cut it to length. Now I can secure the post with a padlock by bringing the chain pieces together around it. br>br>It's extremely durable and attractive!.

We wanted something a little more attractive than standard logging chain to hang a couple hammock chairs for our garden deck, so this was the perfect solution

The OKG chain has a distinct squared off appearance and a chrome-like surface that we found to be quite appealing. The chair height can be easily raised and lowered thanks to the chain. Long before this chain broke, we'd have tipped the tree over.
