What is the maximum number of order sheets it can hold at any given time?

It all depends on the size of the guest checks you're using. I have the 36" model, which allows me to print up to 12 tickets at once.

How does this work with a stack of multiple sheets of paper? It occurred to me that it could be used to hold a number of drawings (perhaps five). ?

It can accommodate multiple guest checks in a row. We've gone all the way down to number three. I'm guessing it depends on the weight of the paper or paintings.

The length is 36", as far as I can tell. Is that the total length of the rack or just the portion that holds things? I require a holding space of 35 inches. ?

It measures 36" in total, but it can also accommodate the 35".

What is the procedure for mounting it? Thanks?

It was a great commercial item for the restaurant because it only required two screws to install.
