Yes, there is a pocket beneath the zipper pocket, dear Customer.
My daughter works as a waitress, so I bought this for her. I believe bills could be slid into the inner slots.
All of the others are stitched shut except the one with the money in it. However, it was executed flawlessly. I purchased three, and I'm still using the first. Love it
It opens up with a flap. Then there's a sewn-in pocket beneath that.

We use the larger serving pads at Longhorn Steakhouse, and they fit perfectly in this! The magnetic closure is extremely nice and sturdy, making it ideal for storing money that needs to be accessed frequently.
It's very well made and cute. Credit card receipts, money, any special notes, and my notebook are all kept in this bag. I prefer small 4 inch spiral notebooks to standard guest check books. This book has a pocket for everything and enough space in the magnet pocket for a lot of credit card receipts, so it's good for whatever kind you prefer. My money is kept safe and secure in a zippered pocket. I haven't put any money in it, so I can't comment on that, but so far I'm enjoying it. In my years of service, I've used a lot of books, and I'm likely to stick with this one.
Excellent Customer Service, Good Waiter Organizer, Durable and Convenient!.
To begin with, this server book is incredibly adorable. It made me feel good. Second, there are a TON of pockets to keep everything organized. The clencher is a zipper. This is ideal for storing coins. It has a good feel to it and is easy to clean.
I've been using it for a few weeks now, and while it's of good quality, it still falls short of my expectations. Credit cards can't fit in the small pockets, and the large pocket can only hold a few tickets. The medium/large pocket doesn't hold the larger tickets, so it's a waste of space, and on the opposite side, I use a divider to separate my unused tickets from those whose orders have been placed but not paid; the clear window is an excellent source of reference for a shrunken version of our menu to reference, or you can put a picture of a loved one to remind you why you work so hard.
Pros: The length and width are ideal for my apron, and it's slim enough that I can wear it with a couple of check presenters. Cons: The material isn't sufficiently reinforced. I expected it to be more durable for the price I was paying because the corners bend easily. So far, it's the best Amazon purchase I've made, but it appears that I'll need to replace it every 6 months or so. The old American Express credit card check presenter was tough and lasted a long time. It would be nice if they reinforced this one and made it more difficult to bend.
I use a 4x8 spiral notebook, also known as a "reporters notebook," to do this. It's a medical activity log that I use on a daily basis. To fit, the notebook's back cover had to be trimmed by an eighth of an inch. It's ideal for my needs and precisely what I was looking for. There are numerous compartments for notes and other items. I chose the red one and am extremely pleased with it.
This is a fantastic book! Fits perfectly in my apron and aids in the organization of my cash and cards. The magnetic feature is great because it prevents bills from falling out. It has received a lot of positive feedback! Also, it has a very subtle sheen; you can't tell it's glittery from a distance, and it looks very professional.
