I prefer to use plastic placemats because they are much easier to clean than having to throw them in the washing machine all of the time, and these fit the bill. They have a weave that makes them appear to be cloth until you touch them. The color is lovely, and it's exactly what I was looking for. They appear to be durable enough, though we haven't had them long enough to know for sure. They're easy to clean, but be aware that the weave makes it easy for small food particles to get caught in the weave, and they're quite floppy. If you require this feature, there is no stiffness. br>br>However, they are adequate for my needs. They have a nice appearance and are less difficult to clean.
I bought these because I was tired of having to wash my fabric place mats all the time. br>br>These are fantastic because they can be washed over and over. (The only issue with wiping is that residue can be difficult to remove from the placemat with a simple sponge wipe because it settles in the netting. ) Because water clings to webbing, you must run under water for the majority of the time, and they must dry for a short time. )br>br>However, they are EXACTLY what I was looking for, and I absolutely adore them!.
The only drawback is that they are so thin that everything passes through, requiring me to clean not only the place mat but also my table. They appear to be attractive, but they are not worth the money.
It's a little smaller than the rest of my placemats, but it'll do. A fantastic value; not suitable for a more formal meal, but ideal for a family night to keep the table clean. They resemble denim in appearance.
Although these are attractive and functional, they should not be used to cover a cloth tablecloth because the woven pattern allows spills to seep through. I ended up covering my tablecloth with a clear plastic table cover and then layering the placemats on top of that.
This placemat arrived sooner than I anticipated, and it has a more advanced texture than I had anticipated. Despite the fact that I haven't spilled anything on it, it should be very easy to clean because it is stain resistant. br>It isn't perfect shopping, but it is adequate for the price.
These are my favorites because they don't appear to be made of vinyl. They're one of our favorites because they keep the tablecloth clean. I have blue and gray versions of these.
I'm not using them for my kitchen table, but rather for scratch protection on our bedroom nightstand. It appears to be fantastic. Also of high quality.
