It is well-made. br>These mats are suitable for hot plates but not for serving hot dishes. People, you should use a trivet. br>Machine washable on a gentle cycle; however, spills can be wiped away if caught quickly. You can iron these with a warm iron instead of putting them in the dryer.

These are fantastic! They're lovely, and they're well-crafted. made, and machine washable In my opinion, the fact that it is washable is a huge plus. Placemats that can withstand actual use are extremely difficult to come by locally!.

We placed a dinner plate on it at the table, which lightened the color of the wood on my lovely table. I believe the white backing melts, which is why my table is so messed up. Although the design is lovely, I had to purchase additional placemats to go beneath them.
