Is it safe to drink from a nickel cup? Is it lined, or is it open?

I'm not sure about the safety, but most silverware contains nickel. There is no lining in the cup.

What country does it come from?

Nickel. It has a hammered Silver appearance to it. However, there is no upkeep required.

Is this something that will tarnish over time?

Because it isn't Sterling silver or silver plated, it's extremely unlikely.

Approximately how many fluid ounces are there? Is it still valid?

Unfortunately, because this was a gift, I did not use it. It wasn't a huge container; I'm guessing it held less than 8 oz.

Metal that smells bad

What a BEAUTIFUL and HEAVY Kiddush Cup! The metal, on the other hand, has a strong odor. I tried everything I could think of, but it didn't work out. It's not even close to being as good as silver or stainless steel.

The board of our synagogue ordered this cup as a Bat Mitzvah gift. It's beautiful and well-crafted, in my opinion. I'm going to order it again. I was surprised that the cup has some weight to it, given its high quality and low price. It doesn't appear to be flimsy in the least. The color stripes are very attractive.
