This item is an excellent value for the money, and it is also dishwasher safe. The shaker has a solid, well-built feel to it. The cocktail-making accessories are just the right amount. br>I put the cocktail shaker to the test by making one of the recipes in the enclosed guide, and it worked perfectly. There were no leaks at all. The shaker looked brand new after being washed in the dishwasher. If you're new to mixing drinks, the cocktail guide appears to be a good place to start. For the price, this is an excellent shaker.
