It's a fantastic product that feels sturdy and looks great. Unfortunately, it did not turn out as planned. I bought it as a Christmas present for my wife, and two months later, no pie has been made. It's not the fault of the product; it's of excellent quality. It's most definitely a wife issue.
It is a time for research. Slices both sides of the pie and picks it up with ease. It's pie season, so if you haven't already, this is the recipe I'd recommend.
It's also extremely durable and strong. Because I bake frequently, I will continue to use this recipe for many years. What a fantastic purchase!.
Because of the low scooping, it's better suited for a tart than a pie. To get into the depths of a pie, it's too flat.
China is where it's made. It has a very cheap feel to it. as well as the appearance of plastic They claim it's only one piece, but it's not true. I recently had an onyx replaced. which was a lot more substantial. I suppose I won't cry too much for ten dollars.
I bought three of them, one for each of us, and I'm very pleased with them. They are both beautiful and functional on your table!.
I used to have one that was made of plastic and didn't last very long. This one is very sturdy, cleans up easily in the dishwasher, and performs admirably. It meets my expectations and I would buy it again.
I bought one for myself and one as a present. Definitely something to give as a gift for a special occasion! I wash mine by hand just to be safe, as I don't want anything to detract from their lovely appearance.
