This device has the ability to lift both cakes and pies. There are probably a lot of things this thing can lift, but I can't think of anything more important than cake and pie. You could use it to make cookies, but fingers work just as well. However, I would not recommend using it as a bricklaying trowel.
" " All I want to say is that it isn't at all flimsy. " Even bending it is impossible for me! Beautiful, and would make a great gift for millennials who are likely unaware of the existence of pie servers but would use one if they did.
The design is very practical, simple, and elegant. br>br>The disadvantage is that it does not meet the same high standards as our other All-In-One products. Utensils that have been clad. We have a set of measuring cups and spoons that are all very durable. This appears to be a lot less expensive and flimsier. Its lack of heft disappointed us right away. It's a good deal at $10. At $20. Unless this exactly matches what you want/need cosmetically, I'd shop around a little more and look for something sturdier.
This pie server was described as flimsy in some reviews. It's pliable to some extent, and you could bend it if you tried hard enough, but it's not flimsy. It has enough spring in it to allow you to angle the point under your pie and slide it without destroying it. Overall, I'm happy with it.
This is one of the best Clad utensils I've ever seen. I have a lot of All-In-Ones with a mirror finish that should last a lifetime. It doesn't get any better than clad cookware and utensils. The cookware, according to my understanding, is made in the United States, while the utensils are made in China. If that's the case, I believe All-Stars is a good choice. Clad's Chinese operations must have a high level of quality assurance.
Thank you for getting this to me in less than three days after I placed my order. This server is heavy, well-balanced, and designed to glide beneath a slice of pie and lift it out intact and beautiful for plating. It would make a wonderful present. I wish I'd bought one years ago, and I intend to do so soon. At a low price, they're elegant enough to serve with a formal silver dining service.
This pie server is one of my favorites. It's pure beauty at its finest, but it's a tad on the small side, in my opinion.
All Clad's signature look - Simple, effective, and easy to clean, with a variety of applications. Impervious to the dishwasher. It can be used for a variety of tasks in the kitchen.
