Is this manufactured in China or in NM or a similar location?

There is no indication that it was made in another country on the label. The Nambe trademark, year, and artist are all stamped on the bottom, and it's a lovely piece.

Is this made of stainless steel or something else?

It isn't made of stainless steel in any way. Nambe is almost certainly based in New Mexico, and I believe the majority of their products are manufactured there. We are huge fans of all of our Nambe products.

Solid and beautiful

The Nambe wine chillers are absolutely stunning. As soon as you remove them from the freezer, they absorb the condensation in the air, giving them a unique texture. The only disadvantage is that they are made of solid metal and are not insulated. As a result, they quickly lose their chill. I bought two and keep them in the freezer for when I need them. It's a little more work, but it allows me to display the designs of each of the Nambe coolers I purchased.

Nambe is a stunning piece of pottery. A bowl and one of these wine chillers are in my possession. This one is for a very special family member and will be given as a gift. I'll find out tomorrow if she enjoys it as much as I do. I have a feeling she will.
