I have two outside in a mancave, and I live in Texas, so I don't have any problems.
I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. Velcro is used to secure the item. You should be able to adjust it to fit your tower's diameter.
Greetings, Richard! The 3" Double Tap Chiller should be able to accommodate your single tap tower. The size of the faucet window is the only difference between the Single and Double. If you don't like the look or the Chiller isn't a good fit for you, we'll refund your money in full, no questions asked!
Shelby, how are you? Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for getting in touch with us. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. This isn't a kit for making kegerators. This is just for the Neoprene Tower Cooler Sleeve; it doesn't come with a hose, wrench, or any other kegerator accessories. The wording has been changed to make it less confusing. Thank you for taking the time to give us your thoughts.

I'm still trying out new things. I bought this along with my Kegco dual tap at the same time, and the first pour is always a little foamy, but that's to be expected. I started to suspect that the sleeve wasn't making much of a difference in tower temperature, so I took it off for a while and noticed a lot more foam. for 2- It appears to have done its job after three pours. br>br>I wouldn't call that a scientific approach, but everything else appeared to be the same. I'm not sure if the increased foam is directly related to a warmer tower because there was no temperature difference when the sleeve was on vs off to the touch. I'm going to put it back on and keep playing around with it. br>br>At the moment, I believe the investment was worthwhile. The only way to know is to wait and see.
It appears to be 75% of the size it requires. Take a look at the images. I have a one-tap tower that resembles a fat man dressed in a hat. The top doesn't even fit properly on the tower's crown; the velcro seams are busting, and the sleeve doesn't even reach the bottom! What? Finally, why would you want the seam to be facing the pourer? Wouldn't you hide the seam on the BACK of the sleeve if it's designed for kegerator users? Product is extremely perplexing and infuriating - especially in light of the cost.
I've had it on my kegerator for a few months and it keeps the tower insulated and my first pour cold and foam free, as advertised. My only suggestion is that if you purchase this product without a tower cooler, you will not notice much of a difference. This is intended to keep the tower cool rather than cool it down. If your kegerator doesn't already have a tower chiller system, you'll need to purchase one if you want your first pour to be cold and foam-free. This insulator comes highly recommended for its low price and ease of use. And don't be concerned about the appearance of an insulator on the tower's outside. It appears to be in good working order.
I prefer this insulator because it is 2 tap and 3" x 14" (the others are 3" x 12" unless you buy the 3 tap insulator or the unfinished custom insulator without velcro to get 14" height). br>Worked perfectly on my Kegco K309SS- a kegerator tower with two kegerators It only took a few moments to set up. The front of the top cover was trimmed an 1/8" short by taps, so it does not fully cover the top lip as shown in the photo. It's not a problem; I'm just aware of such things. br>The neoprene is only 3/32" thick, but it does the job. br>I also cut open a black neoprene koozie (insulated beer can sleeve) and wrapped it around the base before putting my insulator on so it covered the entire tower base. The beer tower now registers room temperature when using an infrared temperature gun. So far, the sleeve has proven to be useful. It's not a replacement for a dedicated tower cooler, but it's an improvement over having no outside insulation.
5 tower. Prior to ordering, I double-checked the measurements. The product I received falls about 1" short of completely encircling the base of the tower. The neoprene sleeve is simply too short to properly fit. Although it is a thin material, it appears to work well where it covers the tower. Disappointed, and based on other reviews, it appears that the sizing of this product is inconsistent.
The installation was simple and straightforward, and the end result was exactly what I was looking for in this product: the beer tower stays icy cold and reduces the amount of head that remains at the end of my pour. Internal temperatures are kept cool thanks to a cozy for my tower. However, if you don't wipe away the condensation on the outside of the tower every now and then, you'll end up with a puddle of water on top of your machine. I always recommend this product to others and would buy another if I ever run more taps in my theater/man cave. cave.
Although the product is of good quality, the sleeve is two to three inches shorter than a standard tower, leaving the bottom couple of inches exposed to the heat. I figured the idea was to keep the lines inside the tower cool, so why not make it the same length/height as the tower? I'm not sure if I missed a sizing chart or not.
I thought this would help me because I have a beer tap outside in South Florida, but it didn't seem to improve the foam I was getting on the first try, but it does look cool.
