This purchase has made me extremely happy. It's well made, strong, and easy to clean, and it's holding up well to our daily milking routine. It had a strong odor when it arrived, which worried me at first. It wasn't a chemical odor, but it did seem to have something to do with production. We cleaned the underside of the can thoroughly before using it because it was covered in a thick black layer of wet dust or grease. We didn't want to take any chances, even though we were on the outside. I'm not sure what it was, but it was easy to remove.

I bought this milk transport pail because I milk five goats twice a day by hand and needed a way to transport the milk from the barn to my house. I like how lightweight it is and how simple it is to clean. One thing I noticed was that it had a gray/black film all over it when it was brand new out of the box, which was annoying but easily removed with some hot water and soap. On the inside, I didn't notice it, and it arrived ahead of schedule. Overall, I'm happy with it and would recommend it to other hand milkers.

A single box was used to ship this milk jug. The box was visibly scuffed, and the item had several dents. It's a pity because it's a lovely milk jug otherwise. I didn't return it because all of the dents were on the seam side, which I simply tucked away. It's not a particularly sturdy container, but it suffices for the purpose of storing dog food. There was an oily black residue on the surface that needed to be cleaned. Except for the seal, it appears that everything was removed with the diswashing soap I used to clean it. Cleaning the seal only seemed to smear the black substance all over it. I could never get rid of everything. I didn't try anything else to clean it with, and I'm hoping it's not toxic.

This company gave me a complete refund and returned the item. br>br>This item arrived filthy, and it took us 45 minutes to clean the black off of it that occurs during manufacturing. The internal silicone lid frequently falls out, causing the milk to spoil. After a few uses, the latches wouldn't stay down. This is a product that I do not recommend.

This is a fantastic alternative to using a glass carboy. It's nice and heavy duty, with good lifting handles. Mixing is a breeze, and cleaning up is a breeze! Drilled the lid for the grommet so I could use a bubble airlock. For filling, I constructed a 6-gallon metering stick.

br>The can is well-made, the metal is as thick as advertised, and it appears to be a family heirloom. br>I bought this to sit on top of my woodstove, filled with water, where it absorbs heat spikes and releases them as the fire dies down. br>It works well, and I'm glad I spent the money on a high-quality piece of equipment.

This container is more beautiful and functional than it appears in the advertisement. Good locking lid with good seal, all welds are strong and durable, and the shiny finish looks great. I would strongly suggest it.
