Although it appears to be attractive, it has a number of flaws, so the verdict is still out

Although the product appears to be in good condition, there was a rusty white powder caked into the corners of the interior of the unit, which I had to scrape out and thoroughly clean. We haven't used it yet, but it appears to be nothing more than a glorified sink. There are no insulated properties that would keep ice from melting, as far as I can tell. Furthermore, the rim's plastic seal is, well, subpar. The lid was given a more substantial seal. Because the water drain pipe hose does not screw into the basin mechanism, you must hold it in place to allow the water to drain.

You'll be much happier if you get rid of the cheap plastic pipe that came with the unit and replace it with pvc pipe, just like a kitchen sink.

Hinges that are rusting The good: This is what I fill it with at the end of the day, and it's still full the next morning

My commercial ice maker has been able to keep up with the demand because of it. The disadvantages: br>br> The hinges are corroded to a point where they can no longer be used. I've contacted the company several times and have yet to receive a reply!.

It was damaged during shipping, but I was able to repair it. br>It was only the drain tubing that I had a problem with. br>I had to get a new seal for the plastic nut that was attached. br>The fit is just right where I wanted it to be.
