While I'm grateful I can get replacement lids, these are just as bad, if not worse, than the originals. br>The originals were cracked to the point where pieces would break off with each wash, leaving colored bits all over the kitchen. Aside from that, the dish has a poor seal. However, they were able to stay together for a number of years before this began to happen. br>These new lids appear to be following in the footsteps of their predecessors. We've only had them for about a month, and the larger ones are already cracking around the edges. They're not brittle enough to lose plastic, but it irritates me that you spend so much money on such low-cost plastic that it only lasts a month. br>On the other hand, we have corningware dishes with plastic lids that are more than a decade old and still work perfectly. pyrex, change your formulation. At this rate, I'll be purchasing products from competitors.

These were purchased as backup lids for a set of Pyrex bowls I recently purchased because the lids seemed to go missing frequently (and I despise looking for lids). They're well-made and do what they're supposed to do. My only gripe is that, despite the fact that the lid clearly states "microwave safe" - Not at all. The lid warped after only 1 minute in the microwave when I placed it loosely on top of a Pyrex bowl. After that, it was no longer usable, so I had to dispose of it - I'm glad I have some spares!.

Our first Pyrex lids lasted about seven or eight years. In October of 2018, we purchased replacement lids. We use each lid once every two weeks for regular use in the refrigerator, reheating in the microwave, then washing and re-storing in the cabinet. In the microwave, the large red lid deformed, and it no longer seals to the bowl. I emailed the seller, "24/7 Specials," with these details and a request for a new large lid. Sorry, this one must have been of low quality from the manufacturer; please purchase another. UNBELIEVABLE and ABSOLUTELY INTOLERABLE. BAD PRODUCT, TERRIBLE SELLER.

The thing is, these Pyrex plastic lids have a unique feature: You'll have to replace them from time to time. br>br>To me, the cost of replacing the lids is well worth the cost of not having to replace the entire storage bowl and being able to store them in glass rather than plastic. br>br>Just in case you didn't know - Microwaving these lids reduces their life expectancy. They clean up beautifully in the dishwasher, but if you use them in the microwave too frequently, they will lose their flexibility. Furthermore, this defeats the purpose of using glass containers rather than plastic containers.

I bought these replacement lids for a set of Anchor Hoking bowls that I've had for a long time. They were the perfect fit for them. The old lids were cracked, so these lids will be used in their place. However, I was taken aback by the price- They're not much cheaper than a complete set with bowls!.

This is a replacement lid set for Pyrex glass round storage containers in sizes small, medium, large, and extra large. The glass jars are indestructible. the lids? I don't have to re-invent the wheel nearly as much as I used to. I buy these lids every 3 or 4 years as they start to crack and break apart; I like the containers because they can go from freezer to oven, so I'll replace the lids, and this set works great. I gave it four stars instead of five because it comes with two of everything except the big red one, which I wish came with two, but the red ones can be purchased separately if needed. They're a little pricey, but they get the job done!.

Many of the lids on my Pyrex glass bowls were broken (due to our negligence) - I'm overjoyed that Amazon now has the replacement available. I'm free to use my glass bowls once more. LIDS SHOULD NOT BE HEATED IN THE MICROWAVE. WARNING: DO NOT USE NEAR HEATED OBJECTIVES.

These lids were purchased to replace the lids that had previously failed to last. So far, they've performed admirably and haven't shown any signs of wear. & tear. In terms of the order, I believe that having two of each colored lid is preferable. Rather than having only one colored lid, each of the others has two. But I'm not complaining because, prior to my purchase, I already had a red lid at home that was in good shape; It is still the case. So all that was required was one more red lid; in addition to the other lids that came with it As a result, this is unquestionably the appropriate merchandise to purchase.
