What is the source of such high costs? The old lids begin to crack after a year or two, and pieces of the lid fall into your food. Why are the replacement lids so expensive? For the price of the replacement lids, I could buy a whole new set, but it's such a waste.

I bought the entire set of glass storage containers (with red lids) from Amazon. The bottoms are made of glass, which is fantastic. The lids, on the other hand, are a different story. Because the original lids are prone to cracking, I had to purchase these replacement lids. Because the replacement lids are made of the same material as the originals, I expect them to break as well. I don't want to throw away the glass bottoms, so what else can I do? I'm pretty sure I'll just keep buying replacement lids. I wish Pyrex would make replacement rubber lids instead of the plastic ones that break! Otherwise, the replacement lids do the trick (at least for the time being)!.

Every single one of these items has been found to be ineffective. As opposed to flexing, the rim cracks. I wash them by hand and move them from the fridge to the counter. That is all there is to it. There isn't a microwave, and the dishwasher isn't set to run automatically.

We got a big box of these pyrex storage containers over 20 years ago. They've served me well, but the lids have recently begun to deteriorate and crack. So I was ecstatic to learn that replacement lids are available! I threw out the old ones, and the entire set now appears to be brand new, as it did 20 years ago! I deducted one star because they appear to fit slightly tighter than the originals, making them a little more difficult to put on. They're perfect in every other way!.

These were purchased to replace some cracked Pyrex lids. This variety pack was purchased based on the dimensions of the glass containers I already own, but they do not fit. These lids are too big, and they don't fit snugly on the container, despite the fact that the container's size should be the same. I'm guessing Pyrex made some changes, which is unfortunate. Glass containers are indestructible, so it's a shame that there have been changes over time.

I didn't have to buy any more than I needed because of this. I used the microwave to kill a few of my original lids. It doesn't make them brittle right away, but it does make them brittle. They'll break down eventually. These are fantastic. br>br> They were a perfect match for the colors we already had. Although I have a lighter blue Pyrex lid for another set, I believe these are the most common navy Pyrex lid colors.

For leftovers in the fridge, we have several Pyrex bowls of various sizes. The bowls are decades old and will last a lifetime, but the original lids have seen a lot of wear and tear, and after 20 years, they are no longer functional. After 30 years, the material became less pliable and eventually tore. As a result, we're ecstatic to be able to obtain replacement lids. So far, your work has been on par with the originals.

These lids are the ideal set to replace your old ones. All of the replacement lids are compatible with the bowls they were designed for. This purchase has made me extremely happy. I also just placed an order for the rectangle replacements.
