I am ready for the snow and ice! I have a lot of photos from the winter of 2013-2014 There has been a lot of violence in 2014
5/5

You may have experienced snow and ice this year if you live in a place where those conditions occur. Despite the popularity of back savers, the plastic shovels aren't designed for heavy snow and ice and are too flimsy to break up ice. The handles on the plastic shovels are uncomfortable and hard to use. This device is bullet proof and costs you less than $100. I'm sure some of these devices are great, but I wanted something that would last! A quality product There is nothing wrong with this shovel. It is made in the USA. This shovel does not belong to the weak. It is a well-weighted shovel as a result of the all steel scoop. Unless it has some structural flaw, this shovel will last for a very very long time. The company that makes it has been around for over 70 years, so if it breaks, it comes with a lifetime warranty. * * *Value The steel shovel here can be used for a lot more than just snow clearing, as this is a steel shovel. Several other types of shovels of this type have also been used for coal, gravel, and grain. Despite not being designed for digging holes, this shovel is a great tool for other tasks. This scoop has an incredible amount of uses thanks to its large scoop and solid construction. The following are in use It does not matter whether there is snow or ice, neither are problems. Providing you are strong enough to move it, this shovel may be able to do so. It can be used as a battle axe to break the ice. The shovel will soon wear out before you do. The number of inches of snow dropped by a snowstorm do not necessarily decrease with time Having to clear only one inch at a time can be a problem when only clearing 12 A total of 2 inches of snow fell. If this is the case, a cheap plastic shovel would be a good investment for small storms, only relying on this shovel as the big gun when necessary. As this shovel design anticipates that you'll be lifting a heavy load, it's designed to handle such loads. To lift a heavy load with a shovel of any length, you should hold on to the handle tightly to get the most power from If you are clearing material that is below the ground level (like snow), you will be forced to bend over. It is obvious that your bending will be more intensive if you are taller. By having a low center of gravity (i. e. you are moving material from the back of a pickup truck, or if you are moving material from a large pile, then this length will be perfect even if you are short. As someone who is shorter than average, I do not mind having an extra 12 inches added to the handle, however, I feel that the 48" classic would be just too long for what I need it for which is mostly moving heavy snow/slush and clearing ice. There are no weak among us who will use this shovel! You should have no problems using this shovel if you're in decent condition. It should last you a lifetime and is a useful addition to your arsenal for the cold weather with the added benefit of being functional in many other ways as well I have snow-related tasks to do.

Snowshoveling is one of my favorite things to do with it! The second of my two
5/5

When we moved to suburban Texas, we no longer needed a snow or grain shovel so I sold the first one at a yard sale. Once again, I am in need of a snow shovel now that I'm in Oregon. I don't like snow shovels with plastic scoops that look like snow shovels. I want to see you!.

The best tool I have ever used

A great buy that is well constructed and will last. I wish the handle were a couple of inches longer, but other than that, it is a great purchase.

An ideal shovel would be one that works well
4/5

My only complaint is that the metal ring where the fiberglass ends and the metal begins is sharp and rough on your hand, so I covered it with some electrical tape, and it worked great. They should consider fixing that, but other than that I would buy them again or suggest that other people buy them.
