Correction I noticed that I did indeed purchase the lid separately after looking over my order. Thank you for pointing this out. It is the following lid that I ordered The Rubbermaid Commercial FG573000YEL is rubber to your taste.
In fact, yes.
In this case, yes. There are flat bottoms on the containers I purchased, so cabbage can be crushed Though the one in the picture with this question doesn't appear to be the same as the one pictured.
The one I have stores cold press coffee. It should work just fine.

There are many things I like about this container My storage needs and methods are suited by its shape (height is greater than diameter), which cleans easily and is very sturdy. My first choice was the "transparent" (it's actually translucent), because of the cost savings over the opaque white. I intend to use it for pickling, but keeping the light out is easy and is what I've been doing anyway, so it won't be an issue. However, I do not like the fact that the lids must be purchased The lids are priced at varying levels of affordability, but many of them aren't.
It is misleading. Although it is a decent container, the picture advertisement is misleading because it does not come with a lid (it can be purchased It was not necessary for me to use a lid, but if I had needed one, it would have been difficult to do.
I won't be using it! A lid should be included with the bucket and it should say so in the posting. The bucket seems fine, but it does not come with a lid. This doesn't make any sense to me why anyone would want a Rubbermaid product without a lid. My bucket cost $10. Now I have to buy a lid for it and pay $10. It seems like some reviewers have complained that the lid is a bit loose.
A book called Flour Water Salt Yeast was my Christmas gift. It's great for letting bread rise or for letting it rise and work.
My soap making is made easier thanks to this product.
In November I bought my first one on Amazon and received it on November 11. It was so great for my boyfriend and I since we eat a lot of salad, and thus here it is Christmas morning and I have recently ordered my second one, which will be for cleaning and soaking my meats.
It's nice to have a big bowl to mix dough in. It is ideal for mixing dough to make bread and bake with plenty of room to rise.
As you can see, they're a lot nicer than they appear on the picture. This makes them ideal for raising dough and kneeding. I wish the lids were a bit less expensive considering they are a heavy gauge commercial product.
