Questions & Answers

Plastic containers that can be microwaved are safe for use?

Containers can only be used if they are within a specific temperature range. This warmer has a top temperature of 165 degrees on Hi. You might be able to get away with it.

The unit cannot proof bread if that's the case?

Food is not meant to be kept hot in this unit. Using it to proof bread is not a good idea.

Would anyone be able to tell me what the appropriate temperature range is? There is a buyer who describes it as 0-100 The seller says 220, while the buyer says Having a temperature of 120 does not mean that it is very warm. ?

As a manufacturer, we are HeatMax. 120 to 160 degrees Celsius are the temperatures in this range.

Is this something you can use chafing pans for?

Yes, and buffet steamers as well

I'm able to use it without any problems

It really fluctuates in temperature, which is a problem. most serious concern is that the shelving keeps sliding out of place whenever you pull a product out, and because of the lip they are manufactured with your door does not close properly. In the midst of a rush, you pull the pan out of the warmer and it does not move. You have to rearrange the tray so you can shut the door, then adjust it back in place.

It is so cool. I love it. There are three of them in my house. My friends and I do private cheffing on AirBnB from time to time. We have a chef at every home. The proofing feature is fantastic as well.

I found Heatmax Commercial warmers to be useful

It was a beautiful warmer that I enjoyed very much. As soon as it arrived, I used it for proofing my pastries, then I ended up using it to keep food warm throughout the holiday season. It's too late for me now because I didn't buy it earlier.

I am very happy with the unit, and it is worth the price. The product may be advertised as "commercial" however, it is not NSF certified and therefore is not approved for use in restaurants Because of this, I had to return home. It is misleading to describe a commercial product as such.

The first time I did this, I encountered problems

I am a fan of. The first time I did this, I encountered problems. A fan was constantly touching the wire and making noise. The reason was that returns are so expensive and that ruled out the option of returning the product. Having my handyman identify the issue and fix it was a great help for me. We have now resolved the issue.
