10/2016, my bar opened, and we had a new 5 brush. 9/12/2018, the brush was starting to wear out, so on 12/9/2018 I ordered this BarConic unit to replace it. I was notified the same night by my daughters that two brush heads had broken off. For the price, I should have gotten 1. I'm not sure if there was a bad batch of metal, but I did not get You're going to get two years out of this.
It was a wonderful product when I got it for the first time. I bought this to use in my small bar on a regular basis. I liked the placement and spacing of the brushes and they worked very well. The sink stayed in place once it was placed in the sink and did not move. A half inch piece broke off of one of the brushes after 2 months. Not the base of the brush broke in half but the brush itself. The broken brush was removed from the set and I continued to use it with the remaining four This is the way another one split off last week as well. It seems like it should have lasted much longer than it has. This product had no issues at all for 2 months after we used it in the way it was intended. I am very disappointed. I have been unable to use it for 4 months. Not only was it expensive, it was also not really cheap.
I have found this to work really well and to have held up so far. Whenever I used it at New Year's Eve, the bartenders loved it and it performed well. When this one wears out, I will definitely order this again.
The employees were rough, so I chalked it up to that. The problem is that we have had it since October, and it has Money is too valuable to be wasted.
It is simple and plain. There have been no reports of the heads breaking off or the base splitting like other posters have. I'm just past the return date and no one will make good on the refund for this garbage product. Holy cow, I should have read the reviews first. I'm out of here.
As a result of getting tired of the 3-brush one I used to work at at the bar I work at, I bought this. It always looked like the glasses were It is embarrassing for a bartender to realize that there is lipstick on the glass of the drink they are At least for me, this is quite embarrassing. I highly recommend this setup. Occasionally, you may find it difficult to push down the glass bc of the brushes being so close together, but it is not a major issue. Also, the metal base gives it a much more solid feel.
My employees were exposed to rusted metal as well as dangerous parts of the heads due to the breakage of these heads. I was pleased with how well the brushes held up, and while they lasted they were quite good. The only downside to this thing is that it doesn't work in a bar setting.
One of the other options on the market is a plastic three brush, which we most certainly break every day. There is no reason to pay an extra ten dollars for this unit The best thing is that they will hold up to the abuse of a busy bar, and you will be able to remove your lipstick too!.
