My barmaid glass washer developed a problem after contacting customer service, and they suggested this is the part that wasn't working, so I purchased the replacement part from In fact, when I took my machine apart, I found that the part was broken. As you may have found, removing the motor was a bit challenging. I recommend some WD-40 Start spraying the nuts and bolts and the column that the motor sits on with 40 and let it sit for at least a day before you try to take the motor apart. In order to remove the machine from the column, it is important to use a vice grip and a rubber mallet hammer. I could have bought a new one for $400 or purchased a replacement part for $30, but my machine is back together and the part is working.

Until we installed this part, the glass washer had not worked properly when we disassembled it, we found that the 23 year old coupler had failed! With this one, I was able to replace the original one and it worked as good as new once
