This is the case. It is incorrect to show a 24" dimension on the diagram.
Thanks for visiting. This is the original comment I made Last night I installed four of these levelers on the bottom of a heavy teak cabinet & I'd like to thank other commenters for their suggestions. In addition to not having any instructions, I too am concerned about that. the suggestion of first drilling a 1/2" diameter hole, I would add to that that the hole should be made deep enough so that the screw (which is longer than the plated insert) can pass straight through. My next step was to use a 3/8" hex allen wrench Wrenches of all types provide a smooth and secure grip Ensure that the plated insert is firmly seated in pounding it in using a rubber mallet, but I wasn't pleased with the result since the wood was smashed, and this may compromise the stability of the leveler as the furniture piece is moved. Instead of a 3/4" hex head, the fitting requires a 10mm hex head. It is close to being the same, but there are differences. The one I used was a 1/2" forstner bit to make the hole then a 10mm hex head to install the threaded insert. So, use a 1/2" drill bit to make the hole first. Once the insert is in the hole, screws it in with the 10mm hex head screw driver. Do you understand what I'm saying?
Hello, the minimum distance to the floor is 19 mm, the maximum is 24 mm. In order to avoid any wobbling, the diameter should be 38 mm (34 is safer). A 60 mm height is required for the overall assembly.
Drill first a hole in the leg with a standard twist drill bit, a size smaller than the largest thread diameter, but larger than the diameter of the shaft of the insert. Once you have threaded the insert into the hole, you are ready to cut. The insert can then be screwed into the leg by screwing a leveling foot all the way into it until it stops. Then use a wrench on the nut on the foot

A few years ago, I bought a set of these for a cabinet because they looked so nice. As I was screwing the third one in, the cheap pot metal started to crack and self destruct when I took it out. I had a good day installing two without a problem. As I was putting in my last set, I decided it was not worth the risk since I am not spending more money to replace it. Whether this was a glitch or not, it has caused me quite a bit of headache and is not worth my time.
For a heavy duty workbench, I bought these. It is probably about 75 lbs, and I am planning on storing a lot of heavy things on top of it maybe 250 lbs. I'm happy with how things are going so far! We were very pleased with the levelers and the price was also very reasonable. Neither the installation nor the adjustment caused me any problems. To make the hole more accurate, I used a 1/2" spade drill bit and sawed it out slightly to accommodate the tapered base of the leveler. To install the foot, you'll need an allen key of 10mm, and to adjust it, you'll need an Allen key of 13mm.
The levelers were mounted to the bottom of a heavy teak cabinet yesterday in four pieces each I'd like to thank other commenters for their suggestions. In addition to not having any instructions, I too am concerned about that. the suggestion of first drilling a 1/2" diameter hole, I would add to that that the hole should be made deep enough so that the screw (which is longer than the plated insert) can pass straight through. After that, I used a 3/8" hex Allen key to turn the nut. Wrenches of all types provide a smooth and secure grip Ensure that the plated insert is firmly seated in pounding it in using a rubber mallet, but I wasn't pleased with the result since the wood was smashed, and this may compromise the stability of the leveler as the furniture piece is moved. be easily screwed into the insert now.
Although it took me a while to drill out the screw hole pieces, we managed to get it done in the end. If you wish to set the hole before going to the half inch, I suggest you use a 3/8-inch drill. You do not need to rush and should take your time! By drilling a trial hole, it is easier to get the 1/2 inch hole to run smoothly. By putting soap on the zink nut, I was able to screw it in easier. A set of directions appeared on the back of the package. Overall, I was very happy with the result!.
The purpose of this product is to level a miter saw bench I built in my garage. The bench is in the garage and the floor slopes towards the door as one may know. As the bench floor slopes a half inch over a 6 foot span, there are plenty of threads to level it. It was easy to use the levelers. The only challenge I faced was that a 3/8" hex wrench was required to thread the levelers into the legs of the bench after I drilled the 1/2 inch hole There are two sets of hex Allen wrenches in my possession, but none of them are close to 3/8 inch in size. As I browsed my toolbox, I stumbled upon a nail set, shaped like a hexagon, that was just the right As long as I turned the nail set with vice grips, it worked well. There would've been a huge advantage to having a 3/8" hex tool. In my opinion, they are worth the price. I am very pleased with this product.
I'm very happy with the results! My final judgment will need a few weeks to be made, but they seem to be sturdy. Those levelers I received appear to be better than they were before. Rather than being pounded into the threaded receiver or requiring the leveler bolt to be used to screw the threaded receiver into the hole, the receiver is now screwed into the drilled hole with an Allen wrench. You must drill a hole of 1/2 inch in diameter in order to install these signs.
I have used many different types of adjustable legs. So far, these have been the best. It is very easy to set up and very powerful. Every time you have to go to the manufacturer's website to determine what size hole to drill, I did it that way. If you are looking for strong, adjustable levels, then these are a great choice. Just remember to determine what size hole you need to drill to make life easy!.
I am very satisfied with the quality of these levelers. The only issue I have is that there are no instructions describing the proper drilling diameter and depth. Having been involved with DIY projects for many years, I do not require instructions, however, others may need them. In other words, this is a very good product at a very.
