When you mean that you don't want the cake to slide off the board, we usually put a little frosting directly onto the center of the board before putting the cake on it.
That would seem to be the case. The pictures were a gift that I gave to someone else, so they do not belong to me. In the case of the large ones, I would think you could put a small house on top of them and decorate them.
Wax paper is what I cover them with. It is best to cover both sides of a tier when switching between them. A cake or buttercream baked on a board that is not coated will collect grease. I am especially fond of My opinion is that plastic wrap will not hold up to the heat.

This is what you decorate on while decorating your cake so that you do not mess up the display stand, but most importantly it is used to SUPPORT TIED CAKES. I wouldn't cover these with foil or anything like that--they're perfectly fine without any of those things. There is no need for proof since the cake boards are not supposed to be visible. You can, for example, decorate a 6-foot hallway to look like a 17-foot walkway Glue your 6-inch cake to the top of your 12-inch cake A board that is at least one inch thick so the cardboard cannot be seen As soon as the top and sides are decorated, YOU will transfer the whole cake to a larger cake tier/display board/stand and add any borders (buttercream, fondant, etc. ) to cover the plain plain cardboard if you need to. A less expensive alternative is to just wrap the display boards in just plain ol' aluminum foil or a beautiful decorative one if you need one for display. It will save you money. I think it's completely unfair of YOU guys to leave 1 star reviews because you guys did not do your research! My rant has been long because of your post! Having said that, these are excellent and cost-effective! I usually have to go to baker's supply stores and buy each board for double or triple the price. It is always helpful to have these on hand! There are two cakes in the picture that I've included a tiered cake and a cake built on a cake stand and then displayed on a cake stand.
A couple of previous reviewers said the cake stand is not intended to hold cakes. Due to the fact that it is non-grease based In the case of proof, it doesn't matter. If you understand the purpose of its use, overall I would recommend it.
There are many problems with the boards. It took me a while to finish my cake before the board began sucking up I left my board out over night, and it looks awful. When I lifted it up to go deliver, it was so flimsy that I was afraid it would end up through the cake. Those are not the ways to deliver it. A little disappointed with the outcome.
This was certainly not what I wanted. I apologize for the inconvenience. Because they are not grease proof and, just to let you know, grease will damage them Cakeboards that are proof are a must. What is the purpose if that's not the case. As a result of my disappointment, they are sitting in the corner on my desk, as I have not yet had the Learning lesson (you get what you pay for and do The product I ordered today will never be ordered again. However, why do you not grease-proof the product? Nope, not even a dime will be spent to return them! #mindblowing. I am probably just going to throw them away.
A good sturdy board and a true size were what I liked about these. Despite this, I did not realize that the board would absorb the moisture from the buttercream and cake until I made my first cake on them. The board around the cake and the buttercream has a ring of moisture on it, so if you look closely, you can see it. Due to this, my board looked very sloppy and there was no way to cover it up as adding more icing would just create more moisture outlines on the board. So I will no longer be using these boards for cake display. My cakes are custom-made to order, and I cannot present them to clients in such a sloppy manner. To replace these boards, I will have to buy ones covered with some type of coating. It therefore does not make sense to say that these boards are perfect for decorating. The information I would have known before ordering them would have made a big difference.
We found that the cake boards came in a good variety of sizes and for a reasonable price. In order for one cake to be sturdy, I actually had to glue two together to add extra security to make sure that the cake would not collapse under its own weight. Also, they don't seem to be grease resistant, so they may not make as good of a lasting impression. The cake pans worked well, but I wasn't sure if they could support a heavier cake, such as a tiered cake.
To make a cake for my son's first birthday, I bought these. Despite the small size of the package, I was happy with the quality of the product. In addition to being sturdy, the boards held up considering the cake was quite heavy and was moved around a lot during both the photo shoot of the cake smash and the travel to the birthday party site. Especially if you are looking for various sizes in one package, my recommendation would be this product.
I've almost lost multiple cakes because of this. Despite the fact that the board was greasy, it was still slippery. Several reviewers have commented they are meant to be used only for decorating, not for display or for supporting dowels, but honestly I would not trust them to support dowels or to hold up under the moisture of There's no point in getting a discount on them.
