That is not something I would do. Underneath your crust, place a parchment circle or a piece of parchment, and then slide the cheesecake onto the round or a serving plate.

They are, without a doubt! I support the weight under each tier with fat plastic straws, and a sharpened dowel will punch right through all of the tiers to anchor them so they don't slide. This is exactly what you're looking for.

I use these whenever I use my cake spinner because they make it easy to remove the cake. They're also useful if you're bringing a dish to a party and don't want your plate or Tupperware to go missing.
Because these cake boards are a Wilton product and come in attractive packaging, I had higher expectations for them. But that is the only thing this item has going for it. They are 10-inches long and 10-inches wide, respectively. The boards are very thin, bend easily, and are not very sturdy, measuring in inches.
I used it for a 9-inch cake on a rotating cake stand, and it worked perfectly.
