Put a filter on! I use it with my irrigation system and it works perfectly. Put a filter on! I replaced the original filter that came with my Banjo Y-- this is exactly the same You can filter with this.

This is a superb product

I use it to filter creek water for drip irrigation. There is very little maintenance involved and it works flawlessly. An extra screen was purchased just in case the original screen failed, but it hasn't been needed.
