What is the maximum flow rate that this filter can handle?

In their catalog, Banjo y strainers does not specify a maximum flow rate. My distributor stated that it is rated the same as pipe, and that 1" pvc pipe should have a flow rate of around 15 gpm. I've tested it with a flow rate of 25 gpm. It doesn't appear to be obstructing the flow of information.

Is this safe to use with 150°F water?

Polypropylene can withstand temperatures of up to 320 degrees Fahrenheit.

Water strainer of exceptional quality

This is an excellent piece of equipment. Small rocks used to get stuck in my water tank's float valve. You don't need a wrench to flush the screen because the drain has a flat tab that you can turn by hand. It's solid and won't let you down.
