Questions & Answers
We primarily support marine applications and do not claim to be experts in all of them. However, given the dimensions, you could probably add a Male Threaded PVC slip adapter to your 3/4 pipe and screw on our strainer. We make use of the standard 3/4-inch-thickness-thickness-th Thread count of 14
I'm not sure what size number 4 is, but it's somewhere between 1/8 and 1/4 inch.
I had a 3/4" one and it worked fine; I'd recommend returning it for a replacement or purchasing a PVC adapter from Home Depot. Rick
The thread and size are different. My version was filed and glued on. Everything is in order.

e. , three- the size of a fourth of an inch No, it's 2 instead. 2" diameter on the inside and 1/4" diameter on the outside, for a total of 2" diameter. 1/4" OD x 2" ID x 1/4" OD x 1/4" OD x 2" So where do we go from here? Forcing Amazon to send their truck out and burn that much gas for a $10 item? Alternatively, I could keep it in the hopes of using it for something else in the future.
015" is a fraction of a millimeter less than 3/4 inch. It is possible to force them on, but they will not fit. Two of them fit by screwing them on a garden hose really tight, removing them, and then pushing hard while turning to fit the live well recirculate pipe, but the other two didn't. This is complete nonsense.
I was a little concerned about the mesh's durability, but it appears to be quite strong. It didn't flex even when I applied a lot of pressure to it. This is an excellent product.
I should've paid attention to the reviewsbr>Several people mentioned that it doesn't fit most live well pumpsbr>I bought both as recommended and it doesn't fit the new or old threads. I tried giving it to others to use on their pumps, but it didn't work. I ended up stripping my pump threads and gluing it on in the hopes that it would stay in place because the pump threads were ruined.
It screws onto the pump threads, leaving about a quarter inch of space between the transom and the grass, ect. to get hung up.
My old strainer had deteriorated and was falling apart, so I bought this to replace it, and it was as easy as screwing it on!.
This was used to replace the dry rotted plastic pvc filter that my Lowe had. It's a direct replacement with a much better appearance.
The screen will prevent the need for a new livewell pump. I have no idea where or when the old screen vanished.
